Graduate and professional students make up almost one third of the student population at Mason, yet they remain mostly invisible to the campus community at large. University Life has committed to supporting the success and well-being of graduate and professional students explicitly in our strategic plan; several units have been actively involved in this effort. How can we encourage graduate and professional students’ engagement through the design of our events and initiatives? Join us for large- and small-group conversations as we explore the national and institutional context for graduate and professional education, learn from examples of successful initiatives, and brainstorm ways to engage this student population in areas across campus.
