In collaboration with our Blackboard team, faculty, and Student Financial Aid, the Retention and Student Success arm of the Center for Academic Advising, Retention, and Transitions has piloted several student interventions. This session highlights two of these efforts. Join us for an overview of our LMS Outreach and Patriot’s Promise programs and a discussion of outcomes, implications, and program extension. Our LMS Outreach is based on student engagement in Blackboard; the Patriot’s Promise program provides tuition for summer courses for Pell-eligible in-state students who have not met the 30 credit threshold after their first year of study. Join us to learn more about how these programs have served our students, how students were nudged to engage in student success behaviors, and participate in a discussion about program outcomes.
